Large Sterling Silver 'Rustic Dome' Drop Earrings

The first few editions of these uber shiny earrings were created during term one of my Silversmithing Diploma while we were studying doming techniques for metal. I instantly fell in-love with the rustic vibe of this type of earring and could not resist making a pair that incorporated elements of my own unique style into the design. 
 
My Rustic Dome Earrings have since proven to be such a popular item among my lovely customers that I now include a pair or two in each and every collection that I create. 
 
They are super lightweight and comfortable earrings that are simple enough for everyday wear yet elegant enough to add that little extra sparkle to a special outfit. 
 
Though I make this style of earring often, no two pairs will ever be alike. I add a reasonably heavy texture to each earring using my awesome collection of old broken hammers (and the occasional old nail) and then polish their surface to a really high shine that helps give them a really unique finish that adds movement and sparkle when light catches their surface.
