This beautiful, bohemian style necklace was handcrafted with late summer in mind. It was inspired by the slow yet steady shortening of daylight hours that follows the summer solstice here in the UK and is meant to serve as a cheeky little nod to the vibrant and earthy colours of the early autumn months that will soon be upon us. 
 
The beautiful Amber stone that sits proudly in its centre was carefully hand-selected to ensure it evoked images of an autumnal forest in the early October sunshine. It is a beautiful, clear stone with a rich burnt orange colour that has the most amazing glow when light catches it surface. The perfect tribute to autumn sunlight through beautiful orange, gold and red birch leaves on a crisp October morning. 
 
This is a one-of-a-kind item. The necklace that is pictured is the exact one that you will receive.

  • Item Details

    The Body of the necklace is made from 1mm thick recycled sterling silver sheet and measures approx. 2.9cm long by 1.5cm high at its widest points.

    The front of the pendant has been heavily hand-textured with an old ball pein hammer and then polished to a high shine, for a really unique finish that gives the metal an almost shimmering appearance when light catches it surface.

    Right in its centre is a beautiful, 10mm round, high quality Amber cabochon stone in a fine silver bezel setting. The setting has been hand-polished to a high shine finish that gives the appearance of a beautiful silver halo around the stone.

    The 2.5mm thick, 16inch sterling silver belcher chain is permanently attached to the pendant via handmade sterling silver jump rings in the top 2 corners of the triangle. Each side of the chain measures approximately 8inchs long and the total length of this necklace including the attached pendant is approx. 17.5inches.

    The total weight of this item, including the attached chain is approx. 7.2g

    For insurance purposes all items are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed within the UK, and Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed to the rest of the world.

    I do not currently dispatch as standard to EU countries due to the customs and paperwork/hallmarking complications created by Brexit. However, if you do live in the EU and would like to purchase from me, please get in touch so we can check your countries hallmarking regulations and customs requirements to see if it is possible.

    Sterling silver can easily tarnish over time, especially handmade and artisan items that are typically not plated or lacquered in the way that most commercial jewellery is.

    To keep your jewellery looking great for years to come remember to remove it before exercising, swimming, bathing, showering or when completing tasks where it could get knocked or damaged.

    Do not allow your jewellery to come into contact with harsh chemicals, hand sanitisers, perfumes and lotions (It’s always best to put your jewellery on last while getting dressed). And store your item in the jewellery bag provided when it is not being worn.
